Have you seen the Raggedy baby quilts and Raggedy Quilts, or Raggedy Quilt Throws? Some call them Tattered, but others call them Frayed Edge. You see them everywhere. All the seams on the handmade rag quilts are sewn toward the front of the quilt. A layer of batting is between the two layers of fabric or flannel. They are all handmade by me. Machine washable too. The rag quilts listed on my site will have a "lower price" than my "custom rag quilts". They are ready to ship now. If you see something you like, it is quite a bargain and will save you money.
If you would like to inquire about having a custom rag quilt made, just email me at order@tagalongs.net I usually make my rag quilts out of soft flannels or homespuns, because they give a great raggedy edge. I can make the rag quilts out of cottons too. I am working on more rag quilt throws and will be listing them very soon.
Here are the prices for my custom rag quilts. I do ask that you pay for the custom rag quilt in advance, prior to starting the project for you. I will make the rag quilts out of new flannel or homespun, then use new polyester batting in between.
And, I have had many inquiries about using CHENILLE in the quilts. CHENILLE is wonderful, but fairly expensive fabric. I can make the quilt with CHENILLE, but you will need PAY for the difference for using that particular fabric. Contact me for details.

My prices are very fair for all the hours spend on these quilts. I work very hard on them and make sure I do a great job for you. You will love your quilt or throw. If probably cleaned, etc., they should last for many years. The larger rag quilts are very heavy. You may want to consider that when you are paying for shipping.

Garfield Rag Baby Quilt
"Garfield Rag Quilt or Tattered Baby Quilt" is made of two different flannels. One side of the quilt has alternating white flannel and a sweet little Garfield print flannel. Batting used between the flannels. The other side is pink and white flannel only. The seams are all sewn toward the front, so the Garfield/white side is the raggedy edge side. It is machine washable. The size of the quilt is 35" x 35". Handmade.

Lips Quilt
p>This is a Darling Rag Quilt for adults or teens. The rag quilt was handmade with solid white flannel and a flannel with red lips on white background. It turned out so good. This is my favorite so far. The seams are all sewn to the front and clipped for the raggedy edge. Batting between layers. Size is 52" x 57". Warm quilt. You will love it. PERFECT for a TEEN's Room! Handmade.

Mary Engelbreit Rag Quilt
Ok, for all you Mary Engelbreit Fans out there. This is for YOU. So darling and a must have for the spring fever. It was handmade in with lots of different cotton fabrics: Pale lime green, pale yellow, yellow/white small checkered, green/white checkered, M.E. design with Aunt Estelle(blonde) with her watering can. Lots of flowers, birds, white picket fence and gate, and the saying Bloom Where You are Planted...what a wonderful saying. Layered with Warm and Natural Batting. Seams all sewn to the front, clipped, and have the great raggedy edge. Machine washable. Handmade. Size is 57" x 63".

Doll Quilt and Pillow Set
This is such a cute little doll rag quilt and pillow set. I love purple. Hope you do too. The quilt is 18" x 21", which should be a good size for most dolls.
The rag quilt is made out of two soft and pretty flannels. One is a lilac fabric and the other is a vintage looking lilac flowered pattern. The seams have been sewn to the front and clipped, to give it that popular raggedy look. The doll rag pillow is 7" x 7" and is reversible. One side is all the lilac flowered print and the other is the two flannel fabrics, as in the doll quilt.
