At tagalongs, you will find not only a large variety of primitive patterns, but some really great doll hair. For years, I have sold sheep's wool. The red sheep's wool is great for the raggedy dolls. The black is perfect for black dolls. You will receive a full ounce of the wool in a zip lock bag. Normally, I have the following colors of wool in stock, which include: raggedy red, natural white, gray, black, green, purple, brown, and raspberry. From time to time, I have other colors of wool listed too. My wool is clean and you will find nothing offensive in it. Maybe, once in a while, you will find a piece of hay, but that is it. It was hand washed. And, some of the wool is hand dyed, so you should stain your primitive doll first, then add the wool.
I offer loopy doll hair, which is great for the raggedy annies and smaller dolls. The loopy has a curly looking texture and I normally stock it in pink, purple, red, blonde, black, and pumpkin. The loopy doll hair looks great on the raggedy dolls. I use it quite a lot on my finished dolls here at tagalongs. Look in my finished items, doll section and read the descriptions. I tell what doll hair I use and if I sell it here at tagalongs. It is very inexpensive doll hair and works great.
The Kute Kurl is nice for prim dolls too. I use it on the smaller dolls. I have a variety of colors in the Kute Kurl doll hair too. Then, if you want a wave and wool texture, try to wool rave doll hair. I use all of them, depending on the size and color of the doll that I am making. I normally stock it in black, brown, white, and auburn. The white is wonderful doll hair for Santa dolls and Uncle Sam primitive dolls.
